You can say it is the secret juices which will help to beat your competitors for ranking in Google. Similarly Google uses many other factors for calculating ranking in major search engines results. But Link Juice is the most important factors in the eyes of Google,

Mostly SEO Professional say that Link Juice refers to the power and potency of inbound links that point to a particular website.  Now Let take an examples That Site A and Site B are both have some keywords and would like to get rank in some keywords
Now the Question is that which site are best in eyes of Google or you can say which of these two sites is likely the best. Let say that Site A gets a link from a site but Site B does not get any link from site.
Now Google give importance to Site A and definitely it will outrank Site B. That is why Site C decides to link to Site B, as well:
Now the Google look the same to both sites, Now they require to look at another ranking factor to determine which one will be the best.

Now we will add new two sites to further illustrate different scenarios that may be happen:
We found in the above example, that Site D is linking to Site A and Site E is linking to Site B.  Now the Google will check out which sites are better Site A or Site B, Now it will look at the sites that are linking to Site D and Site E:
In the above example we find out that Site D has more link juice that Site E because it is getting a links from Site G, Site F and Site H.  That means Site A has more link juice in comparison to Site B. In this way Site A will beat or outrank to Site B.
